A privacy-first invoice tool
Most “free” invoice generators are lead magnets: they watermark your PDF, hold it hostage behind an email wall, or store your client list on their servers. This one is different by design. The entire tool is client-side JavaScript — the invoice exists only on your screen and in whatever PDF you save. Close the tab and it’s gone. That’s not a limitation; for a document containing your client relationships and your prices, it’s a feature.
Invoicing habits that get you paid faster
- Number invoices sequentially (INV-2026-001, 002…) — required for accounting in most countries and it signals professionalism.
- Put an explicit due date, not just “Net 30”. Ambiguity is the friend of late payers.
- Invoice immediately on delivery or milestone. Every day between delivery and invoice is an interest-free loan to your client.

Yes — completely. No account, no watermark, no “premium template” upsell. Everything runs in your browser: your invoice data never leaves your device, which also means we couldn’t charge you for storage if we wanted to. Print it or save it as a PDF using your browser’s print dialog.
What must a freelance invoice legally include?
Requirements vary by country, but the safe universal set is: the word “Invoice”, a unique invoice number, your name/business name and address, the client’s name and address, an issue date, a due date with payment terms, a description of goods or services with amounts, the total due, and your payment details. VAT/GST-registered businesses must additionally show their tax registration number and the tax amount and rate.
How do I save the invoice as a PDF?
Click “Print / Save PDF”, then choose “Save as PDF” as the destination in your browser’s print dialog. The page is styled so only the invoice itself prints — no navigation, no ads, clean margins.
What payment terms should I use?
“Net 30” (payment due within 30 days) is the traditional default, but nothing stops you using Net 14 or Net 7 — shorter terms are increasingly normal for freelancers.
